Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Welcome!  Therapy helps us find a way to live in the world authentically and wholeheartedly.  Are you looking for ways to alleviate negative thinking, behaviors or beliefs? Would you like to learn your personal boundaries and implement changes to empower yourself in relationships? Counseling offers an opportunity to learn positive ways to respond to life's challenges, to understand and change self-defeating behavior patterns and build a more balanced, meaningful and rewarding life. Everyone has the potential to improve, make positive changes,  and deepen their relationship with their self.

My goal is to help you achieve your empowered self, increase your self-esteem and self-respect & create ease in your life. I work with you, providing a healing and safe environment to facilitate your personal growth. We can look at personal limiting patterns and beliefs as well as ancestral patterns that may have been passed down through time and create changes to break them and replace them with life affirming actions.

Our work together has the potential to bring peace & ease within your psyche which is fostered through solution focused and pattern breaking techniques. I utilize a client-centered approach incorporating eclectic and evidence based practices.  I tailor my approach to my clients personality and their goals. I am trained as an Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Lifespan Integration. After each session you will have new affirmations, behaviors or coping skills to work with in your daily life.

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients--adolescents, adults, couples, and families -who are dealing with emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, codependency, low self-esteem, trauma, stress and relationship issues.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Registered Art Therapist (ATR), and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) practicing in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. 1417 NW 54th St. Seattle, WA 98107
